Film based on Hemingway’s classic short story, directed by Henry King, and starring Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, and Susan Hayward. The story centers on the memories of a writer (Gregory Peck) who is slowly dying after developing a dangerous wound from a thorn prick while on Safari in Africa.
